Sculptural Handmade Ceramic Vase — Silver and Bronze Metallic Glaze, Ø 23cm

A large, round sculptural vase with a deeply worked organic structure and a striking metallic special glaze. It is not thrown on a wheel but built entirely by hand, coil by coil, which is what gives it a character machine production cannot reach. Once the clay has dried to leather-hard, the ridged structure is carved out of it by hand over several hours. A piece that takes time and quiet to make, and holds a room when it is finished.
